Ouma in Paris photographed by Michelle March
I recently had the opportunity to work with the brilliant Michelle March on her styled wedding shoot “A Faux Wedding in Paris”.
This video touched my heart like no other. Working with Michelle is always a delight, like the anticipation Christmas brings awaiting her images to arrive. BUT the reason why I appreciate it even more so this time…
I showed my daughters Sophia (5) and Debbie (7). We watched it together for the first time and what captivated my heart the most - their little reflections on the computer monitor. Eyes wide open. For the first time I saw their appreciation for my work, the ability to see my dresses come to life on a grand scale. Sophia was in awe and said “Mom she looks like an angel”. That moment, that particular moment made me feel appreciated, inspired to keep moving forward in what I do, inspired me to work even harder. I love what I do. This is what I was born into and what I know best and nothing else satisfies me more than seeing raw material transform into movement and silhouette. Thank you Michelle for your inspiring images, mg-image for your beautiful cinematography skills and La Fabrique à Rêves for pulling it all together. Forever grateful.
